This episode focuses on the dark sides of Hank and Britt's relationship. In the opening, Britt follows an unsuspecting mark into a tailor shop. As he tries on a suit for his wedding, the mark doesn't realize Britt has stolen his wallet. Hank needed the mark's money to do a background check, supposedly for a case. What Hank didn't tell Britt was that the mark was following his ex-wife's fiancé.

Their latest case involves a bank vice-president who believes his wife (guest-starring Olivia Williams) is having an affair. Hank follows the bank VP's wife around everywhere she goes. He even photographs her eating alone at an expensive restaurant. At the end of the night, the lonely wife bursts out crying in her car. The bank VP believes Hank screwed up his assignment; his wife told him she was with another man
